Despite I can work using propietary software from Microsoft, Adobe, I can do most of works using open source software, this has helped me to save companies money on achievement of projects.
My personal computer uses Ubuntu Linux, and I am perfectly compatible to share and produce content.
I haven't had any incident with malware since 1996 (year I quit using windows), and quite often I do help people when they have all sort of infections on their computers, and assit them to recover their precious data. Showing them what is is like to make a computer as productive and enjoyable as they were, except for the virus part, ans if convinced lend them a hand to try something different.
I respect the position of those who won't even try, and reinstall them a clean setup, an antivirus and my blessings to them to have a longer time of stability at their computer this time.
